Ondřej Kocourek is the founder and partner of coLEGAL. Prior to founding the firm, he worked at a leading Czech law firm for almost 7 years, including more than 3 years as a managing associate.

In his practice, he specialises in providing comprehensive legal services to clients in the railway sector, transaction consulting, contract management, corporate law, public investment law and international trade law.

He has participated in a number of large-scale transactions and business cases worth several billions of CZK for clients in the railway sector. He provided legal advice to a major Czech railway carrier in connection with the implementation of the ETCS security system in its fleet, the resolution of disputes arising from the modernisation of its rolling stock or the purchase and rental of rolling stock. 

As part of transaction consulting, he provided legal services in the preparation of an extensive real estate transaction in the amount of several billions of CZK. He also participated in negotiations between the landlord and the tenant on the adjustment of relations arising from the contract for the lease of a major office building in the centre of Prague.

He also has experience in providing legal services concerning international business transactions, especially in relation to China.
